Absolute favorite taco place in Memphis. My wife and I eat here once a week like it's our religion lol Can't go wrong! Staff is nice, courteous. Menu is simple and easy to understand. Portions are usually favorable, although sometimes they can be a little skimpy. Just ask for more. They understand some of us are hungrier than others lol. A++
Good food - would go again if in the area. If you get the Original California Burrito you better be hungry. Really liked the rice and beans that came with the fish taco combo. service was quick and it was made to order. Enjoyed the California style music.
Since moving from California years ago i haven't found a good Carne Asada burrito. Problem solved, I love their burrito . It is packed with Carne Asada, guacamole and pico. I highly recommend Elena's.
The tacos were good but smaller than I expected. They were worth the price. Service was fast and good.
It's getting harder and harder to eat out. Many businesses are being mostly serviced by our youth and unfortunately charging more for less and less. We had a good meal at Elena's, nothing made us feel uneasy and the food was hot with good flavor overall. Price was good for quantity and quality. It's better than most for what I consider straight-forward simple fare. It shouldn't be this hard to find a decent meal but at times it really can be frustrating. The few visits to Elena's have been well worth the money.
